You’ve put in the work. The right people still aren’t finding you.
You’ve rewritten your headline more times than you’d admit. You post when you can, and the likes come from old coworkers and a cousin. The people you actually want to reach, the buyers and clients and hiring managers in your corner of the market, either don’t see you or see someone who does something slightly different.
The hard part is you can’t tell why. It could be the headline, or the posts, or the skills list nobody has touched since 2019. Everyone has an opinion about your profile, and none of them are looking at the data LinkedIn is using.
With over a billion people on LinkedIn, being roughly right about what you do isn’t enough to get picked.
What you’ve probably tried already
A course or cohort
About $1,500 and six Tuesday evenings. Good energy, and advice written for the whole room. You leave with the same template as the other forty people.
A coach
Worth it if you find the right one. They’re still working from your public profile and their instincts, because they can’t see what LinkedIn has recorded about you.
ChatGPT
Fast and free. The new headline reads fine, and it reads a lot like the headline of everyone else who asked the same question.
Profile scoring tools
They check for keywords and a profile photo. They have no idea how LinkedIn rates your expertise either.
Each one is missing the same thing: what LinkedIn has recorded about you.
We start with what LinkedIn has on file about you
Any LinkedIn member can download a copy of their data. You get a zip of forty-odd spreadsheets, and most people open it, see the mess, and close it.
A few of those files matter a lot. Many exports now include one where LinkedIn rates your expertise in specific areas on a 1 to 4 scale. Others hold your posts, skills, endorsements, recommendations, and job history. On their own they’re hard to read. Side by side, they show the reputation you have on LinkedIn today.
We compare that to the one thing you tell us you want to be known for. Every number in your report is counted from your files, and a person reads every report before it goes out.
You get a written answer within a day of uploading, built on your own data, for less than most coaches charge for an hour.
For people whose next opportunity starts with a profile visit
If a client, employer, or investor is going to look you up before they reply, this is for you. A few of the people we built it for:
- A medical device rep who wants hospital buyers to know her as the orthopedics person
- A CPA who wants small e-commerce founders to think of him first
- A consultant going independent whose profile still reads like their last job title
- A founder whose posts cover six topics and own none of them
- Someone changing careers whose history points one way and whose goal points another
If you want to be known for something specific and you’re not sure LinkedIn agrees, start here.
A real readout
This is our founder’s own review, from his September 2026 export. His goal was to be known as a senior enterprise sales person at B2B SaaS companies. We removed names and company details. The numbers, ratings, and structure are as delivered.
LinkedIn already rated him 4 out of 4 for role and for tenure in Enterprise Software Sales Management. His profile just didn’t say so. His headline opened with his startup, and only 3 of his 162 posts in the past year used a phrase from his goal.

What’s in your readout
Know where you stand
How LinkedIn rates your expertise, topic by topic, in plain tables with a sentence on what each rating means for your goal.
See what’s pulling you off course
The places where your headline, About section, skills, or posts point somewhere other than where you want to go.
Copy you can paste today
A new headline, About section, and current-role description, written around what you want to be known for.
Know what to post for a month
Twelve post briefs, each with an opening line and the points to cover. They build on posts you’ve already written that worked.
Know if it’s working
A four-week checklist and exactly what to compare the next time you download your data.
Two minutes to start
Tell us what you want to be known for, who needs to believe it, and what you sell.
A sentence each, plus your email so we can reach you when your file is ready.
Ask LinkedIn for your data.
We show you exactly where the setting is. LinkedIn usually sends the full archive within a day, and we’ll email you when it should be there.
Drop in the zip.
Your browser opens it and keeps only the eight files the review needs. Your messages and connections stay on your computer.

What we read, and what we never touch
Your messages, connections, contacts, invitations, search history, and billing records never leave your computer. We read eight files and nothing else.

Questions
Is this made by LinkedIn?
No. Profile Readout is independent and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn. We only read data you download yourself.
Why not just ask ChatGPT?
You can, but you’d be doing the work yourself. First you’d need to know which of the forty-odd files in your export matter and what to ask of them. Then you’d need to check every answer, because chatbots estimate counts and can misquote you. Every number in your readout is counted from your files, and every quote is checked against them.
On a personal ChatGPT account, your chats can also be used to train OpenAI’s models unless you turn that setting off. We only use AI providers that don’t keep your data or train on it.
And a chat ends with advice. Your readout ends with the work: a new headline and About section, the skills and recommendations to ask for, twelve post briefs, a daily comment routine, and a four-week checklist, each tied to what your data shows. That’s hours of prompting and fact-checking, done for you once, for $79.
Will this raise my ranking on LinkedIn?
We can’t promise that, and nobody outside LinkedIn honestly can. You get specific work to do and a way to check whether it’s getting a response.
What if my export doesn’t have the ratings file?
The upload step checks before you pay. If it’s missing, you won’t be charged, and we’ll tell you what to do next.
How long does it take?
LinkedIn takes up to a day to send your export. After you upload and pay, your report arrives within one business day.
Is my data safe?
Your messages and connections never leave your computer. Uploaded files are deleted 30 days after delivery, and we don’t train AI models on them.
Do you use AI?
Yes, to draft the explanations, profile copy, and post briefs. The numbers come straight from your files, and a person reads every report before it’s sent. The AI sees only what the review needs: your goal, your headline and About text, roles, skills, posts, comments, and LinkedIn’s ratings of your expertise. Apart from those ratings, that’s all information already visible on your LinkedIn profile. We remove the names of people who endorsed or recommended you before anything is analyzed. We only use AI providers that don’t keep your data after answering and don’t train their models on it.
Can I do this again later?
Yes. About 60 days after your first report, upload a new export for a $39 follow-up that shows what changed.
What if I’m not happy with it?
Email us within 14 days and we’ll refund you in full.
